Genesis 49:9-11

⁹ “Judah is a ^(A)lion’s whelp;
From the prey, my son, you have gone up.
^(B)He ^[a]couches, he lies down as a lion,
And as a ^[b]lion, who ^[c]dares rouse him up?
¹⁰ “^(C)The scepter shall not depart from Judah,
Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,
^[d]Until Shiloh comes,
And ^(D)to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
¹¹ “^[e](E)He ties his foal to the vine,
And his donkey’s colt to the choice vine;
^(F)He washes his garments in wine,
And his robes in the blood of grapes.
